Shanghai-based architectural design firm X+Living has once again made waves with a stunning bookstore interior for the Zhongshuge Bookstore in Chongqing. The project was inspired by the movie Inception and it consist in the installation of enormous mirrors onto the library’s ceiling that give the impression that the room has no vertical limits. The choice of regular and geometric shapes for all the shelves increases the effect of space infinity. Warm and cozy color of wood gives a sense of peace and clarity, far from the stressful universe of the original movie. With this project, X+Living gives birth to a true architecture masterpiece.
