The smells change as well as the colors, and the atmosphere takes a very unique turn. A real rediscovery of that appreciable place. This environment, Robert Mertl has captured it in images in his series with an evocative title “A rainy day in the forest”. « Steinwald is a low mountain range in the Upper Palatinate (Bavaria) and it is very scenic », he explains about the place. For him, rare animals and plants do not always have to be in the foreground « it’s also very exciting to take a closer look at nature and discover some very interesting details ». For Robert, the rainy days in the forest are also the perfect opportunity to meditate in a calm atmosphere.
