Nancy Blum is an artist specializing in drawing and sculpture, based in Brooklyn. She makes large-scale works on paper, ink, colored pencil or gouache, and her artworks are recognizable thanks to their floral motifs. Inspired by botanical images from the 16th and 17th centuries, it reproduces both existing and imaginary flowers. The artist recently made a mosaic mural in the 28th Street Station in New York, where colorful flowers of all kinds flourish. However, they have one thing in common: they can withstand climate change, and all are in the perennial collection at Madison Square Park Conservancy.
