Alexis Bailey and her husband Mark have been pastors at Carpenter's House Ministries in Virginia Beach for 18 years. They have seen the brokenness in the lives of people in their community up close. But when Alexis heard that an event called "Drag Queen Story Hour" was planned for her local public library, she was concerned, but not surprised.
