Greece scene of worst wildfires in Europe this century

Greece, where wildfires raging near Athens, have claimed at least 74 lives, has previously been the scene of the deadliest fires in Europe this century. Here is a recap of the worst fires, which have also hit Portugal and Russia. Sixty-four people were killed and 250 injured in the deadliest wildfires in Portugal's history in June 2017.
