The raw and evocative works of the young American photographer Alex Currie look like memories’ snippets. Indeed, it takes us uncompromisingly into a dreamlike and ambiguous atmosphere between reality and fiction. In this series entitled «Polychrome Summer», the pictures’ colours, contrasts and enigmatic elements catch the attention of the viewers. These captivating and almost surreal photographs taken during his late teenage years are actually a mix between his personal observations of the world and his state of mind at that moment.
